Since 2024, the Polish Medical Mission has been helping people in the West Bank access healthcare, preventive services and psychosocial support.

In marginalised Bedouin communities on the outskirts of Jerusalem and in the Jericho area, access to doctors, diagnostic tests and specialist care is severely limited. A mobile clinic provides a response to these needs by bringing services directly to residents. The project initially covered five communities and has gradually expanded its reach. It now operates in 11 communities with a combined population of more than 2,665 people.

The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland under the Polish development cooperation programme. It is implemented in partnership with the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS), responsible for medical care, and Terre des Hommes Italy (TDH), which delivers psychosocial support and strengthens local communities.

2026 – Continuing Activities in 11 Communities

In 2026, the project continues despite restrictions on movement, checkpoint closures and threats to the safety of residents and humanitarian teams.
