Over the next two months, the mobile diagnostic center of the Polpharma Health Zone will visit 6 Polish cities: Starogard Gdański, Sieradz, Nowa Dęba, Przemyśl, Kobyłka, and Rybnik, whose residents will be able to take advantage of free preventive examinations. In order for this year’s campaigns to best meet the needs of both Polish patients and refugees from Ukraine, Polish Medical Mission has joined the initiative.
The cycle of free health consultations organized every year allows Polish patients to benefit from medical advice and tests, access to which is difficult on a daily basis – especially after the pandemic limitation of the availability of specialists and therapies.
Additionally, as part of the starting edition, we want to encourage refugees from Ukraine to control their health conditions and continue pharmacological treatment of chronic diseases. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Polish Medical Mission has been operating first aid posts on the Ukrainian side of border crossings. The necessity to make an appointment, pick up and buy a prescription was too demanding for patients during the long and exhausting journey. Unfortunately, neglected diseases often led to the deterioration of the patient’s condition and the need for hospitalization. Therefore, this year Polish and Ukrainian patients will be able to take advantage of free cardiological, diabetic, ophthalmological, and pulmonary examinations:

- 04.09 – Kobyłka, – 15-August Square,
- 11.09 – Sieradz, Provincial Square, next to the Warta Department Store,
- 18.09 – Przemyśl, the exact place will be announced soon,
- 25.09 – Nowa Dęba, square at the Local Government Cultural Center, ul. Żeromskiego 2.
The zones in all locations will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On-site, it will be possible not only to take advantage of a medical consultation but also to receive educational materials and learn about the rules of counteracting the most popular diseases.
