The PMM is looking for a paediatrician to go on a mission to Ethiopia
The Bushulo Health Centre, located 7 kilometres from Hawassa, run by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Mary, is looking for a paediatrician for a 3-month medical mission.

- paediatric consultations in the paediatric ward,
- consultations in the neonatal intensive care unit,
- paediatric consultations in the day care clinic. Currently, there are 2 family doctors, a gynaecologist, but there is no paediatrician on a permanent basis. Three times a week paediatricians come from a public hospital for consultations and are available on the phone in case of an emergency.
- transport (including flight),
- insurance, accommodation, vaccinations,
- opportunity to improve professional skills and work in an international team.
Requirements:
- completed medical specialisation course,
- very good command of English,
- strong motivation resulting from the desire to help others in a selfless and impartial manner,
- ability to work in difficult and changing conditions,
- adaptability to modest accommodation,
- previous experience in voluntary humanitarian work will be an asset.
