About

T4 course for medics – Travel, Trauma, Tropics, Tactics

Polish Medical Mission invites you to a course in travel medicine held in Krakow: T4 – Travel, Trauma, Tropics, Tactics. Selected aspects of travel medicine and lifesaving. The T4 course is an original programme of the Polish Medical Mission developed based on international guidelines including those from the European Resuscitation Council and the TC3 Committee, as well as many years of the PMM’s mission experience. The course is held under the honorary patronage of the Jagiellonian University.

The details of the subject matter include behaviours in situations of threat to health or life during travel, and exercises are conducted in small groups based on simulation scenarios. The trainers are experts of the Polish Medical Mission with experience gained, among others, during medical and stabilisation missions. The trainees will receive a certificate in Polish and English.

The advantage of the course is its practical aspect based solely on the knowledge necessary to work in conditions of increased risk in accordance with the safety, evacuation and lifesaving principles. During the intensive workshop part, the participants practice their skills under the supervision of experienced instructors.

The course is intended for doctors of all specialties, nurses, midwives and paramedics who want to improve their competence in extreme medicine and travel medicine.
